Halloween - Koala Style!

Miss Dot,

We had the best Halloween!  You were a koala - your favorite stuffed animal.  Mama didn't really consult you or Daddy about this costume, but she found a koala costume online and ordered it for you.  You were thrilled with this choice though, and gladly accepted the koala costume!  Unfortunately, one of the ears on the koala was turned around backwards - great Chinese product that it was.  Fortunately, Grammy was able to take it off and turn it around for you - she just sewed it right back on!

You were so happy about Halloween this year.  We carved pumpkins and you got all in the pumpkin goo!  You also had a special Halloween shirt that Mama made you that you loved!

Mama came to your school to help you get ready for the Primrose Halloween parade.  Grammy and Pa came to watch too.  You happily pranced around the school with your friends, teachers, and Mama and waved at Grammy and Pa.

Pa dressed as a skeleton, Aunt Stephanie was Raggedy Ann, which you were very excited about, Uncle Rob was a taco, Daddy was Eeyore, and Mama was Winnie the Pooh!  Katie was a doggie and Clara was Jojo Siewa (tween pop singer of our time, who Mama didn't even know!). Kala was a racing horse carrying a jockey, as usual.

Then we came home and got ready for trick-or-treating.  You were so excited to go with your cousins this year.  You finally knew what was up this year and knew you had to say trick-or-treat to get candy.  I think you made it to about 15 houses, which was pretty good - and got a decent stash of candy.  Mama let you have one or two pieces a day when you were good at school and/or went pee pee or poo poo on the potty.  Daddy and I also both had a few pieces!

We are very excited to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas with you - you're already eagerly anticipating it!

Love,
Mama
